ABOUT
In his multidisciplinary practice, David King Reuben focuses primarily on religion, god and the irrational human belief system. He reflects on these existential questions autobiographically by rehashing his extreme ultra-orthodox upbringing and the processes he had to struggle through to break free.
To explore his concepts, he uses a vast array of materials including concrete, ceramics, fibreglass and oil paint on canvas as well as video animation, digital art and music. ‘’If you spend an hour with this man you’ll be inspired to climb mountains, I swear to God” - SOTHEBY’S, Kevin Doyle
